Printing for accurate measurement

  • 01Print at 100% scale (sometimes called “Actual size”). Turn off “Fit to page” and “Shrink to fit” so the corner markers and zeroing grids come out at the right size.
  • 02Use plain US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) paper. Many targets include a printed ruler so you can confirm the scale came out right.
  • 03Keep all four corner markers visible. The app uses them to find the target and set the scale.

Frequently asked questions

Are these printable targets really free?
Yes. Every target here is a free PDF — pistol bullseyes, drills, plate racks, and rifle zeroing targets. Download as many as you like.
What size paper do I print on?
Standard US Letter (8.5 × 11 inches). Each target is laid out for letter paper, and several include a printed ruler so you can confirm the size came out right.
How do I print at the correct scale?
In your print dialog, set scaling to 100% or “Actual size” and turn off “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit.” For zeroing and measurement targets the exact printed size matters, so verify the on-page ruler reads true before you shoot.
Can I use these to zero a rifle or pistol?
Yes. The MOA, MIL, and red-dot zeroing targets are click-calibrated grids: aim at center, count the grid clicks to your point of impact, and dial that correction. The red-dot target gives a 25/100-yard AR-15 zero.
Do I need the RoundKeep app to use them?
No. These print and shoot like any other target. The corner markers are a bonus: with the free RoundKeep Zero app, they let your phone read the scale and measure your groups in inches.
